Bauernmalerei (Bow-urn-mauler-eye) means farmer painting in German. This charming folk art originated in the Alpine regions of Germany (Bavaria), Switzerland, and Austria.

The members of the dance group hand paint these with procedes going the group. Because each is hand painted there will be differences in each item. Custom colors and designs can be done. Most of the current items on this site are Christmas ornaments but a wide variety of items can be made.
